Ebay - A Bargain Hunter's Paradise
What drives eBay? Millions of people, from all over the world, shop on eBay every day. What lures them to this massive internet market place is PRICE. Price is what drives the eBay engines. Price is what has enabled eBay to become a global cultural phenomenon in it's short lifespan. Price is why you see the slogan - "Buy it for Less on eBay". Without bargain prices eBay wouldn't exist. In order for YOU to get bargain prices on eBay, you have to understand what drives PRICE. The final price of any auction is driven by the amount of COMPETITION for that item. The more competition for an auction, and the more desire the bidders have to own that item, the higher the final price will be. The more competition any auction has the better it is for the 'seller' and the worse it is for the bargain sleuth. Likewise if there is no competition for a particular item it will sell at a low price, if it sells at all. If you are the only bidder, you get it for the seller's minimum starting price, if there is no reserve. Therefore, the true - secret - to finding eBay gems is to seek out, screen, and bid on auctions with little or no competition. The best deals on eBay are auctions by sellers who have not done a good job marketing or describing their items. You should be looking for ads that are 'badly constructed' and for some reason - TURN SHOPPERS OFF!!! This is where the 'true bargains' live. Coming Next...
